Job Role : QA Tester

Location : Remote

Duration : Part time

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct different types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
- Identify, isolate, and document software defects and issues in a bug tracking system, including detailed steps to reproduce them.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Utilize both manual testing techniques and automated testing tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform test data preparation and setup test environments as needed.
- Generate test reports and communicate test results to project stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing techniques and tools.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in manual testing and familiarity with automated testing tools.
- Solid understanding of different testing types, such as functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and experience in defect reporting and tracking.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and isolate software defects.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed test procedures.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of programming languages and scripting is a plus.
- Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB, are desirable but not mandatory.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
