UrbanSparks Digital Institute is seeking a skilled and passionate **Video Editing Trainer** to join our team on a part-time basis. As a trainer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, practical lessons on video editing techniques, tools, and workflows. You’ll guide students in using popular video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) to produce professional-level video content for various media platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Conduct Training Sessions**: Deliver interactive and practical video editing sessions tailored to beginner and intermediate learners.
- **Software Expertise**: Teach students how to use tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve for editing, transitions, effects, audio syncing, and color grading.
- **Curriculum Development**: Collaborate with the academic team to develop and update the video editing course curriculum to meet industry demands.
- **Hands-On Projects**: Supervise real-world video editing projects such as social media clips, promotional videos, short films, and YouTube content.
- **Mentorship & Feedback**: Provide constructive feedback, one-on-one guidance, and mentorship to help students enhance their technical and creative editing skills.
- **Skill Evaluation**: Assess student progress through assignments, practical tests, and project evaluations.
- **Industry Relevance**: Share current trends, techniques, and case studies from the video editing industry to ensure students are market-ready.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain attendance, progress tracking, and student performance reports.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in professional video editing or content creation.
- **Teaching Background**: Prior experience in teaching or mentoring is a plus, though not mandatory.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in one or more major video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
- **Creative Vision**: A strong sense of timing, storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to simplify complex tools and techniques.
- **Patience & Passion**: A deep passion for teaching and guiding aspiring editors.
- **Portfolio**: A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing your video editing projects.
