**Purpose of the position**:
To maintain the pipelines in proper condition.

**Scope**:

- The position holder reports to the Supervisor of Maintenance
- They will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of MS, SS, and UPVC pipelines as well as welding work

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Maintenance**:

- Ensure that the welding machine is maintained in proper working condition
- Ensure the availability of the cutting machine in working condition at all times
- Ensure the availability of the drilling machine in proper working condition whenever needed
- Regularly replace critically damaged hoses
- Address any pipe damages promptly, even during off-hours, without disrupting production

2. **Safety**:

- Awareness to be imparted to avoid Un-Safe Acts
- Awareness to be imparted for avoiding Un-Safe Conditions
- Wear Personal Protective Equipments

3. **Maintenance Cost**:

- Manage costs in accordance with the target specified in the set goals

4. **SOP for Machine Operations**:

- Adhere to procedures outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

5. **5 - S (House Keeping)**:

- Foster a culture of excellent housekeeping within the team
- Educate the team about the Five Principles and the significance of proper housekeeping
- Define and mark various 5-S Zones, assigning responsibilities to team members
- Conduct periodic 5-S Audits, scoring them, and recording areas for improvement
- Continuously enhance and maintain the 5-S practices

**General**
- Report any issues promptly to the supervisor
- Ensure that no machines are left waiting for spare parts
- Participate in Total Quality Management (TQM) activities such as suggesting improvements, implementing KAIZEN initiatives, contributing to SGA (Small Group Activity), and setting up model areas

**Personal Attributes**
- The Position Holder must be duly qualified, possessing an ITI certification in welding, specializing in SS/MS/Gas cutting welding
- They should have experience in working with various pipe sizes and dimensions

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
