**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with potential suppliers/factories to obtain competitive pricing, quality, and terms.
- Create, issue, and monitor purchase orders; ensure timely delivery and quality adherence.
- Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers, quotes, order status, delivery timelines, and invoices.
- Monitor market trends, material costs, and availability; suggest cost-saving alternatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, finance) to align procurement schedules with demand forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.
- Analyze purchasing data and prepare basic reports, summaries, and metrics (cost savings, vendor performance).
- Conduct periodic supplier evaluations and support corrective actions when required.
- Assist in developing and refining procurement processes and documentation.
- Postgraduate degree (MBA, M.Sc., or related) preferred.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement, or supply-chain (Freshers can apply).
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Comfortable using procurement tools (e‑procurement, ERP or inventory systems—e.g., SAP, Tally, or similar).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills; capable of preparing cost comparisons and identifying trends.

**Qualitative Skills**:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication—able to liaise with factories and internal stakeholders.
- Good negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms without compromising quality.
- Energetic, adaptable, and motivated with a strong willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Sound relationship-building and interpersonal skills for vendor management.
- Time management and organizational aptitude to manage multiple orders and priorities effectively.
