Provide efficient and thorough document checking, proof reading and copy-editing services in accordance with client request.
- Liaise with clients to clarify administration and technical expectations to ensure highest quality of service is provided.
- Manage and coordinate workflow in accordance with client requirements and other document services departments.
- Manage departmental deadlines to ensure efficient and effective workflow throughout the department, whilst following company procedures.
- To keep personal workload under active review to ensure that deadlines are not missed, whilst communicating with clients and colleagues to identify any potential issues.
- To assist clients by offering guidance regarding the use of English language or house styles, and by improving the readability of documents if requested.
- To ensure accurate time is recorded on automated time recording software to enable department to charge back work.
- Support the firm's Knowledge Management team on a global basis by undertaking a first edit of legal publications such as newsletters and multi-jurisdictional Handbooks.
- Read through or listen to material in one language, ascertain understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and convert it into a second language, making sure to preserve the original meaning
- Translate online, video, and television media by providing subtitles
- Refer to online translation tools for additional assistance with translation
- Provide clients with quotes based on project length and level of complexity
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and understanding
- Use highly specialised translation software to encourage efficiency and consistency
- Adhere to industry quality standards established by the Association of Translation

Companies to ensure that all completed work follows legal and ethical obligations
- Translate a variety of documents including literary, legal, research, technical, scientific, educational, and commercial materials
- May specialise in a particular industry in which he or she has relevant experience or knowledge, such as medicine, the arts, business, or finance
- Works on a freelance basis or pursues employment with an educational, commercial, or government organisation

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
