**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Teaching and Curriculum Development**:

- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering, such as digital electronics, microprocessors, communication systems, VLSI design, signal processing, embedded systems, and related areas.
- Develop and update course syllabi, lecture materials, and lab exercises to reflect recent advancements and industry standards in ECE.
- Conduct laboratory sessions, supervise student projects, and promote hands-on learning and research skills.
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, exams, and provide constructive feedback.
- ** Research and Scholarly Activities**:

- Conduct research in specialized areas within ECE, with an emphasis on producing high-quality, peer-reviewed publications.
- Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary research and participate in conferences, workshops, and seminars.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research, guiding them in experimental methods, data analysis, and scholarly writing.
- ** Student Advising and Mentoring**:

- Advise and mentor students regarding academic and career goals, helping them select courses and pursue research or internship opportunities.
- Provide guidance for students interested in pursuing higher studies or industry positions within the field of ECE.
- Assist students in understanding industry trends, emerging technologies, and potential career paths.
- ** Service and Departmental Contribution**:

- Participate in departmental and institutional committees, activities, and events.
- Contribute to program and curriculum development, accreditation processes, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Support outreach activities, such as workshops, seminars, and industry collaborations, to enhance departmental visibility and student opportunities.
- ** Professional Development and Industry Engagement**:

- Stay updated on advancements in Electronics and Communication Engineering and integrate these insights into teaching and research.
- Engage with industry partners, professional organizations, and alumni to build collaborative networks and create opportunities for students.
- Pursue ongoing professional development through certifications, workshops, and continuing education to maintain expertise in the field.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Education**: Ph. D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field is preferred; a Master’s degree with significant industry experience may be considered.
- ** Experience**:

- Previous teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
- Relevant research experience in ECE, demonstrated by publications, grants, or industry projects.
- Industry experience in ECE fields such as telecommunications, semiconductor design, signal processing, or robotics is an advantage.
- ** Skills**:

- Proficiency in ECE-related software and tools (e.g., MATLAB, Verilog, VHDL, Python).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts effectively.
- Ability to design innovative courses and lab exercises that integrate practical and theoretical knowledge.
