Foundry Supervisor

1. Oversee and manage foundry operations, including molding, casting, and production processes.
2. Develop and implement strategies to minimize casting defects and optimize sand and molding processes.
3. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and maintain proper documentation.
4. Train and supervise foundry staff, ensuring adherence to company SOPs and safety guidelines.
5. Monitor production schedules and maintain communication with other departments, such as machining, assembly, and quality control.
6. Utilize computer skills to manage production data, generate reports, and track performance metrics.
7. Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and address quality issues.
8. Manage and maintain equipment, including the DISAMATIC Vertical High-Pressure Molding machine, automated Disa Sand Plant, and Inductotherm bottom auto pour.
9. Work closely with the in-house testing lab to ensure high casting quality.
10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall foundry performance.
11. Maintain and verify production adherence to the control plan to minimize rejection.
12. Verify melting, pouring, inspection, sand testing, sand mixing, hardness, micro tensile, and other relevant processes.
13. Ensure accurate data is inputted live in company software.
14. Verify and approve raw material inspection reports.
15. Measure KPIs of all foundry employees.
16. To create an employee shift schedule, determine the required shifts and staffing needs, identify scheduling constraints, choose a scheduling method, create a draft schedule, review and adjust the schedule, finalize it, and monitor and adjust it as necessary.
