**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching Chemistry**:

- Plan and deliver lessons in Chemistry for students at the secondary school level (grades 9-12).
- Develop lesson plans, activities, and educational resources aligned with the curriculum and school standards.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and experiments in the lab to help students understand theoretical concepts.
- Teach topics like organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, and environmental chemistry.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, and exams.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, engaging, and respectful classroom environment.
- Encourage active participation and foster curiosity in students.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Modify and adapt teaching methods to suit the diverse learning needs of students.
- Update and enhance lesson plans to integrate modern tools, techniques, and experiments.
- Stay updated with current advancements in the field of chemistry and incorporate them into the curriculum.
- **Student Evaluation**:

- Grade assignments, projects, and exams accurately and provide timely feedback to students.
- Maintain records of student progress and prepare progress reports for parents and school administration.
- Address any academic difficulties students face and provide additional support as needed.
- **Lab Supervision**:

- Oversee and supervise practical work in the chemistry laboratory.
- Ensure all safety protocols and standards are followed during laboratory sessions.
- Prepare and manage laboratory equipment and materials for experiments.
- **Parental Communication**:

- Communicate with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and academic concerns.
- Hold parent-teacher meetings to discuss the progress and development of students.
- **Professional Development**:

- Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences related to Chemistry education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange teaching strategies and improve the teaching-learning process.
- **Other Duties**:

- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and committees.
- Contribute to the overall development of the school community.
