**COO APAC > Regional APAC Procurement SEA & ANZ > Direct Material Procurement APAC SEA & ANZ** This role is a part of Global Procurement team, working as Purchaser supporting global and regional procurement activities of CAPEX and Special Tools. **Responsibilities** - Localization of CAPEX and Special Tools equipment globally - Lead selection, qualification, negotiation and contracting of potential suppliers within the category, as well as participate in cross functional development projects - Develop fruitful relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders within the region - Develop relationships with our key suppliers and ensure they support us in achieving our strategic goals - Identify and guide Purchasing projects in the region by defining the scope of requirements, handling RFQ, Negation, RFQ, Supplier Selection & Contracting - Identify Catalogue opportunities for repeated purchases and improve implementation working with suppliers by signing rate contract and Promote continuous improvement **Qualifications** - 5-8 years of work experience within Strategic/Project Procurement and preferred within CAPEX, experiences in procurement is added advantage - A solid strategic, analytical/structured and fact-based approach - Relevant educational background with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance/Accounting, Sales/Marketing or Engineering - Solid skills in Microsoft Office 365 (PPT, Excel & Word) and knowledge to SAP is an advantage **Competencies** - Outgoing personality with a effective communication and Qualified negotiator - Have a high mindset and a natural curiosity - Systematic and structured approach - Be a team member and motivated to secure the productive implementation of the initiatives you direct **What We Offer** A holistic and positive mindset: you can see the big picture from Vestas product offerings towards customers and the ability to connect these to supplier offerings and how they can positively impact Vestas sales and cost out programs You are not afraid to motivate the status quo **Additional Information** Your primary workplace will be in Chennai, India. **About Vestas** Vestas is the energy industry’s global partner on sustainable energy solutions.
