**Job description**

Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry will play a key role in helping to achieve this vision by providing a high-quality education to students and conducting research in their field of expertise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach undergraduate courses in chemistry, including introductory and advanced level courses, laboratory sessions, and other courses as needed
- Develop course materials, such as syllabi, lectures, and assignments, that are engaging and relevant to current trends in the field
- Work collaboratively with other faculty members to ensure consistency in course content and assessment
- Conduct research in chemistry, including writing grants, publishing scholarly articles, and presenting at conferences
- Participate in departmental and college-wide activities, including committee work, faculty meetings, and other events as needed

**Qualifications**:

- A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited institution
- A record of excellence in teaching and a commitment to student success
- Demonstrated research expertise and a strong publication record in chemistry or a related field
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff to enhance the academic and research programs of the college
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
