Carnatic Violin Facaulty

Violin teachers are responsible for teaching students how to play the violin with correct techniques in Carnatic style. This includes everything from basic skills to advanced performance practices. They may also be tasked with helping their students develop a musical ear, which is an important skill for any aspiring musician.

Violin teachers must have extensive knowledge of the instrument itself as well as its history and traditions. They should also be able to effectively communicate this information to their students in a way that’s easy to understand.

Violin Teacher Duties

A violin teacher typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

- Teaching lessons to students at all skill levels, from beginner to advanced by following the curriculum designed by the Academy.
- Preparing students for competitions or recitals by providing practice time and feedback on performance skills
- Helping students develop proper techniques for playing their instruments through instruction, corrections, and encouragement.
- Teaching students about different styles of playing instrument (bowing and fingering).
- Preparing students for the university level exams by providing feedback on performance skills and music preparation
- Teaching music theory and composition to students with advanced skills
- Teaching students proper posture and techniques for holding their instruments.
- Teacher should be willing to work for full time.
