**Your Role and Responsibilities**

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Install, configure and fixpak upgrade on DB2 V11.1 and DB2 V11.5.
- DB2 Backup and Restore using online/offline backups, DB2 ATS scheduler.
- Problem and performance troubleshooting using (db2top, db2pd, db2diag tools).
- Configure db2 for online backups using TSM/Blue Iron API.
- DB2 HADR support and set up.
- DB2 HADR configuration with TSA.
- DB2 Data propagator (dprop) replication, how to start/stop, fix common problems, configuration and set up.
- Experience on Export/Import and Load utilities.
- Install and configure db2 client/connect for connectivity with Mainframe and DB2 LUW (db2 catalog).
- Configuring db2 for SSL connections.
- Will perform on-call with other db2 dbas (24 7 support).

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Desirable experience in Infrastructure Architecture, Storage and Networking,
- Exposure/Understanding of Platforms (Linux/Unix/Windows)
- Knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Devops, systems performance tuning and capacity planning
- Experience with installing and using DB2 ISV Products, Tools installation / maintenance / upgrades
- Log dataset management and space allocations, Experience with agile organization preferred.
- Experience on following IBM DB2 Utilities, Commands UNLOAD, RELOAD, COPY, RECOVER, REORG & RUNSTATS
- You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
- Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
