An Aditya Birla Territory Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth within a designated geographical territory by identifying and engaging the ideal customer base, achieving sales targets, managing dealer relationships, analyzing market trends, and executing promotional activities to maximize product visibility and market penetration, all while adhering to company policies and sales strategies; essentially, they are tasked with building and maintaining strong customer relationships to achieve volume and value sales goals within their assigned territory. Key responsibilities may include:
- **Sales Target Achievement**:Achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets for assigned products within the designated territory.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:Building strong relationships with key dealers, contractors, and other stakeholders in the territory through regular visits and communication.
- **Market Analysis**:Understanding market dynamics, competition landscape, and identifying potential new customer segments within the territory.
- **Lead Generation**:Actively prospecting for new customers and generating sales leads through various channels.
- **Promotional Activities**:Executing trade schemes, on-ground promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive product awareness and sales.
- **Inventory Management**:Monitoring dealer stock levels and ensuring proper inventory management.
- **Credit Risk Assessment**:Conducting credit risk assessments of dealers and managing receivables.
- **Sales Reporting**:Regularly reporting sales performance, market insights, and competitor activity to the sales manager.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**:Coordinating with other departments like marketing, customer service, and logistics to ensure smooth customer experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers
- Proven sales track record in a similar industry
- In-depth knowledge of the assigned territory and customer base
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
