**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum & Instruction**
- Develop and implement a **student-centered, inquiry-driven art curriculum** aligned with IB PYP principles.
- Teach **various art forms** (drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, mixed media, etc.) to primary students.
- Encourage students to explore **different cultures, artistic styles, and historical influences** in art.
- Foster an inclusive environment where students can express their ideas **creatively and confidently**.
- **Creative Exploration & Exhibitions**
- Guide students in **individual and collaborative art projects** that reflect their learning.
- Organize **art exhibitions, showcases, and school-wide creative initiatives**.
- Encourage students to participate in **local, national, and international art competitions**.
- **Assessment & Reflection**
- Use **formative and summative assessments** to evaluate students' artistic growth and conceptual understanding.
- Encourage students to **reflect on their creative process** and develop a personal artistic style.
- **Collaboration & Professional Growth**
- Stay updated with **IB PYP art education practices and new trends in visual arts**.
- Participate in **school events, professional development workshops, and IB training sessions**.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in **Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related field**.
- **Teaching certification** (B.Ed., IB-recognized training, or equivalent preferred).
- Experience teaching **visual arts to primary students**, preferably in an **IB or international school**.
- Strong understanding of **IB PYP philosophy** and **inquiry-based art education**.
- Proficiency in **traditional and digital art techniques**.
- Passion for **nurturing creativity and artistic expression** in young learners.
- Excellent **communication and classroom management skills**.
