Organizational structure & the position:
This role is of key importance to EdTerra’s foray into digital education and also digitisation of the

student travel business. The position will be part of the Product Development Team and will

report to the Head of Innovations. The role will have a high degree of communication across

departments and will be responsible for creating training materials for the internal team, creating

educational material for students and conducting training and providing L&D leadership.

Role Responsibilities:
1. Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances

retention and transfer

2. Conduct training sessions to teach the trainer as well as to transfer knowledge in

relevant format to the sales team and operations team

4. State instructional end goals and create content that matches them

5. Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product

6. Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts

8. Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process

9. Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)

10. Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment

instruments

11. Maintain project documentation and course folders

12. Travel with student groups from time to time to teach and implement educational

activities on-ground with a view to perfect implementation and design

Skills Required:
1. A demonstrated ability to structure abstract ideas, thoughts, and multi-pronged

processes and present them to a wide range of audiences

2. Excellent interpersonal skills, especially listening skills, to be able to interact with a wide

range of stakeholders and be able to articulate understanding

3. Excellent writing skills. A proven track record of publishing essays, short books, or

Work Experience:
1. Minimum 7 years of experience of designing training and development modules

Qualifications:
1. Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in any field is preferred with core experience in

instructional design

2. MBA in Marketing and Operations is a plus with demonstrated work in instructional

design

3. M. Ed. or Former PGT with a track record of successfully creating and deploying learning

systems with educational institutions or for other institutes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Regular / Permanent, Fresher
Part-time hours: 51 per week

**Salary**: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
