**Job Description - Assistant Engineer (Fire & Safety)**

**Location**: Secunderabad - Karkhana, Hyderabad
**Employment Type**: Full-time (Work from Office & On-site as required)
**Salary Range**: ₹12,500 - ₹15,000 per month
**Other Benefits**: Travel Allowance ₹2,500

**Position Overview**

We are seeking an **Assistant Engineer with strong CAD skills** to support our **Fire & Safety Engineering**team. The role involves preparing accurate 2D and 3D CAD layouts, drawings, and design documentation for fire protection and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with NBC, IS, NFPA, and Fire Department guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and update CAD drawings for fire hydrants, sprinklers, alarms, detection systems, smoke management, and evacuation layouts.
- Develop concept, tender, shop, and as-built drawings as per project requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to NBC, IS codes (IS 2189, IS 15105, IS 13039, IS 14489), and NFPA standards.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation for inspection and approvals.
- Assist in fire NOC submissions, layout approvals, and hydraulic design calculations.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and safety consultants for design-related clarifications.
- Support risk assessment integration and implementation of safety measures in building designs.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of fire protection systems and MEP layouts.
- Familiarity with NBC, IS, and NFPA codes for fire safety.
- Intermediate skills in **MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint**.
- High attention to detail with ability to work under deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

**Education & Experience**
- 12th / ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Fire & Safety Engineering.
- CAD Certification is mandatory.
- 0-1 years of drafting experience in Fire & Safety / MEP preferred.
- Freshers with strong CAD skills will also be considered.

**Work Details**
- **Job Location**: Secunderabad - Karkhana (Office & Onsite visits as per project needs).
- **Office Timings**: 10:00 AM - 07:30 PM.
- **Documentation Required**: Aadhar Card, Bio-data form, and Bank Details.
- **Employment Type**: Employment Bond Contract.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
