Car Technician

Key Responsibilities:

- **Vehicle Inspection and Diagnosis**:Performing thorough inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- **Maintenance and Repair**:Conducting routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid level checks, as well as more complex repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems.
- **Quality Control**:Ensuring all repairs and maintenance work meet quality standards and vehicle specifications.
- **Record Keeping**:Maintaining detailed records of all services and repairs performed, including documentation for both the customer and the dealership's records.
- **Customer Communication**:Explaining technical issues and repair recommendations to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
- **Safety Compliance**:Adhering to all safety protocols and workshop standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- **Staying Updated**:Keeping abreast of the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- **Technical Proficiency**: Strong understanding of automotive technology, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- **Diagnostic Skills**: Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle problems.
- **Repair Skills**: Proficiency in repairing and replacing various vehicle components and systems.
- **Problem-Solving**: Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex vehicle issues.
- **Customer Service**: Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and quality in all work.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting heavy components.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical education or certifications (e.g., ASE certifications) preferred.
