**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Routine Maintenance**:

- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- **Repairs and Troubleshooting**:

- Diagnose and repair issues with equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
- Address emergency maintenance and repair requests promptly to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with external contractors or service providers for specialized repairs when needed.
- **Facility Upkeep**:

- Ensure that all areas of the restaurant are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Oversee the maintenance of outdoor areas, including parking lots and landscaping.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and order replacements as necessary.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure that all maintenance and repair work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Implement and follow safety protocols for handling and storing maintenance materials.
- **Equipment Management**:

- Ensure that all kitchen and facility equipment is functioning properly and maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform regular testing and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Report any significant issues or repairs needed to the Facilities Manager or Operations Manager.
- Prepare and submit maintenance reports as required.
- **Team Coordination**:

- Work closely with other staff members to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to operations.
- Provide training and support to staff on proper use and care of equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong technical skills in areas such as electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of maintenance issues.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with facility management software or maintenance management systems.
- Familiarity with restaurant equipment and systems.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, and general handyman skills.
