Installation and Configuration
- Installation, implementation, upgrading, performance, security, patching and monitoring of WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment (WASND) environments.

- Detailed understanding of WebSphere Application Server Clustering for High Availability

- JMS Configurations
- JMS Server, Connection Factory, Foreign JMS server, Message Bridge, Topic/Queue, Distributed destinations

- Creating profiles to build an environment and Federating Profiles like Application Server and Managed profiles to the Deployment Manager.

- Integrate WebSphere Application Sever with IBM HTTP server.

- SSL Configuration.

- Configuring of Data sources, Pool connections and troubleshooting to fixing up problems.
- Patch Management

- Fix issues faced while patching.
- Migration & Upgrade
- Upgradation of JDK,

- WebSphere upgradation from 7.0 to 8.5
- Performance Monitoring and Tuning
- CPU, Memory, I/O monitoring and fine tuning.

- Performance tuning of WAS by configuring caching, queuing, pooling, heapsize and optimizing other JVM parameters

- Maximizing availability and performance for all WASND and IBM HTTP Server Plugins and IBM HTTP Server systems

- Monitoring, tracking, trending, analysis and tuning of the WebSphere environments
- Providing technical assistance to the entire customer staff of developers, operators and administrators
- Detailed understanding of J2EE standards, JDBC configuration, JNDI Directory Services, SOAP and WebServices
- Configuring of LDAP and Security realms
- Developing automation scripts.
- Validating backup techniques to ensure ease of system recoverability.
- Management of assigned enterprise services projects or components of projects from Application Services.
- Support and implementation of the Security policies and Controls as defined and developed by the Information Security team
- Experience in Managing a Large Middleware infrastructure of over 100 servers, Expertise on Shell Scripting, Service monitoring and SLA management. Experience in Architecture/Design.
- Establishing and maintaining process documents and run books, Good understanding of Incident, Asset, Problem and Change Management (ITIL)
- Change Management: Prepare Implementation, backout and test plan for Change records. Perform risk and impact analysis for changes.
- Configuration Management: CMDB audits and regular updates of CMDB
- Routine Performance Analysis, Capacity analysis, security audit analysis reports to customer for necessary planned changes
- VAPT Analysis and Fixing of issues.
- Preparation of RCA document for production issues.
- Disaster Recovery, Perform network traffic failover.
- Shell scripting for Automation of File system clean up, code deployment.
- Excellent communication skills.
