Introduction:
What will you be doing?
- Develop, install, configure and maintain automated CI:CD solutions (“pipelines”).
- Develop, install, configure and maintain automated cloud infrastructure provisioning and management solutions
- Create and review infrastructure and pipeline design and ensure their compatibility with the end-to-end solution design
- Takes responsibility for ensuring that solutions adhere to architectural and quality standards and policies.
- Assist developers and testers with pipeline related issues, provide day-to-day direction to team members and be the first point of contact for CI:CD and cloud infrastructure related issues.
- Keep up-to-date on the wider industry regulations, standards and trends.
- Provide technical leadership to less senior members of the team.
- Promotion of innovation, quality and exploration of new ideas as a culture

What we’re looking for:

- Strong Knowledge of Cloud concepts, DevOps and CI:CD
- Strong knowledge of one or more source control tools like Git, Github, Bitbucket, etc.
- Strong knowledge of one or more build tools like Maven, Gradle etc.
- Strong knowledge of scripted and declarative Jenkins pipeline
- Strong Knowledge of cloud infrastructure management and automation technologies (Chef, Terraform etc.)
- Strong knowledge of software containerization concept and Docker.
- Familiarity with a broad portfolio of AWS services (EBS, S3, EC2, Elastic IP, Route 53, VPC)
- Knowledge in one or more scripting language for automation like shell, python, ruby etc.

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Appreciation of Event Driven Architecture & Domain Driven Design
- Experience of working on Nexus, Groovy etc
- Knowledge in issue tracking tools like JIRA
- Understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience of developing software for multiple Operating Systems (e.g. Linux, Unix, Windows)
- Experience of software development within the Payment Industry
