Tata Elxsi works with leading OEMs and suppliers in the automotive & transportation industries for R&D, Design and Product Engineering Services, right from architecture to launch and beyond. We bring together technologies that accelerate development & testing of connected, autonomous and electric cars & off-highway vehicles.
We are looking for bright and passionate engineers, senior engineers, and leads who are familiar with the areas listed below:
**Role and Responsibilities**
- Lead Ip development for security algorithms.
**Must Have**:
- Proficient in designing systems which does not compromise cybersecurity goals in projects
- Expertise of using Security mechanisms
- Expertise on different automotive protocols
- Expert in understanding of different Security Attacks
- Expertise in various symmetric /asymmetric algorithms
- Expertise in using Hash /MAC algorithms.
- Expertise of using Open-source libraries like Openssl, EmbedTls etc.
- Customize algorithms for project use.
- Design and develop algorithms for project use.
- Guide team in selecting correct algorithm for projects.
- Provides consultancy support for guiding customers in selecting correct algorithms.
- Understand the threat to any cybersecurity system and design algorithm accordingly
**Preferred Skills**
- Good understanding of Security Standards
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Solution provider to the team
**Additional Notes**
- Practice SMEs are key players in technology, capability, and capacity building in transportation business unit. They play a key role in developing IP, solutions, PoC development and demonstrations. They participate in conferences for presenting whitepapers, technology papers, demos, and events.
