Qc and Packing Supervisor

**Overview**:
The Packing Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of the packing process, including organizing packing activities, training packing staff, maintaining packing equipment, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of packed products.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Leadership**:

- Lead a team of packing staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure optimal performance.
- Schedule packing activities, allocate resources effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Monitor packing operations to ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Inspect packed products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with packaging guidelines.
- Implement quality control measures to minimize errors, defects, and product damage during the packing process.
- Address any issues or discrepancies in packing procedures promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
- Coordinate with the inventory management team to ensure adequate stock levels for packing activities.
- Monitor inventory movements, conduct periodic stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies to prevent stockouts or overages.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Ensure that packing equipment and machinery are properly maintained, calibrated, and operated safely.
- Schedule routine maintenance tasks, perform equipment inspections, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
- Train packing staff on the safe and proper use of packing machinery and tools to prevent accidents and injuries.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and cost savings in the packing operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, logistics, and quality control, to implement process improvements and best practices.
- Collect and analyze data on packing performance, productivity metrics, and quality indicators to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in packing, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of packing staff.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of packing techniques, materials handling, and inventory management principles.
- Familiarity with packing machinery, equipment maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills to identify issues, implement solutions, and prevent packing-related problems.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime hours as needed.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
