**Job Title: Heavy Truck Driver**

**Location**: Sonipat, Haryana
**Department**: Logistics / Transport
**Reports To**: Transport Manager / Fleet Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and drive **heavy trucks to transport goods to designated locations.**:

- **Ensure timely delivery and proper handling of cargo.**:

- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of the truck before and after trips.
- Adhere to all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
- **Keep logbooks, delivery records, and mileage reports accurately.**:

- Report mechanical issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs.
- **Load and unload cargo (with or without assistance).**:

- Ensure the vehicle is clean and in good working condition at all times.

**Requirements**:

- **Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HMV/Commercial License).**:

- Proven experience as a heavy truck driver.
- Familiarity with GPS devices, maps, and route planning.
- **Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety rules.**:

- Ability to handle long hours of driving and flexible work shifts.
- Physically fit to manage loading/unloading tasks if required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.

**Key Skills**:

- **Indian HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicle) Driving Licence**:

- Cargo Handling & Route Planning
- GPS & Map Navigation
- **Long Distance Driving (Day & Night)**:

- Logbook and Delivery Report Maintenance
- Basic Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection
- Time Management & Punctuality

**Education & Experience**:

- Minimum: High School / 10th Pass.
- Prior experience in long-haul trucking, logistics, or transportation preferred.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹14,279.05 - ₹25,000.00 per month
