Cssd Technician

**Job Summary**:
A CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) Technician is responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment to ensure patient safety and infection control in hospitals and healthcare facilities.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments, medical devices, and equipment.
- Operate and maintain autoclaves, sterilizers, and other decontamination equipment.
- Follow infection control protocols and sterilization procedures as per hospital policies.
- Inspect instruments for damage or defects and report any issues.
- Pack, label, and store sterile instruments appropriately for distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, inventory, and instrument usage.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to provide timely supply of sterile instruments.
- Participate in training programs and stay updated on advancements in sterilization techniques.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Diploma or certification in CSSD technology, hospital sterilization, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.

**Skills Required**:

- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Familiarity with sterilization equipment and hospital procedures.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure healthcare environment.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹31,437.13 per month
