**REV.**

**General Purpose & Objectives**:

- Assisting the Plant Manager in planning and implementation of Agro activities to ensure that the right quality and quantity of potato availability as per requirements of the production team
- Conducting grassroots R&D activities for developing seed grade variety potato and maximizing the production of same under contract farming

**Major Tasks & Activities**:

- Supervise and oversee growing, crop maintenance, harvesting and other crop-related operations.
- Inspect crops and fields to determine maturity, yield per acre, work requirements, such as cultivating, rogueing, or harvesting.
- Evaluate weather and soil conditions.
- Work with seed growers to ensure that seed produced is meeting the needs of final product.
- Understand Farmer Psychology and environment mechanism.
- Oversee sorting & overall handling of produce to ensure highest possible quality of products
- Potato storage monitoring and management.
- Predict the stored raw quality trend of potatoes, do weekly fried sample, work and raise potential challenge to team. Update storage shrinkage and correct the data in PC&R monthly to make sure the inventory accurately.
- To develop existing geographies in Punjab & other locations for commercial. To work in collaboration with both internal (Ag. Team & Finance) and external partners (Growers) to explore new adjoining geographies to increase contract farming area. Give information of scientific method (Agronomy Support) of crop cultivation to growers and support team of contract farming.
- Transfer cost effective and environmentally friendly technologies and best practices to the growers in the region.
- Extend information to growers about pest and disease control methods: chemical and other methods of controlling pests.
- To deliver technical solutions and analyze data to improve yield and performance of potato for coming years
- Monitor/tracking daily stock sheet, accordingly, coordinate with plant manager for ordering next supply as well as follow-up for ordered material.
- Creating, managing and analyzing performance data and other information
- Coordination for Daily, weekly, monthly production planning
- Plant cost saving monitoring and data analyses.

Ensure to Implement change initiatives and continuous improvement in own department and plant by implementing 5S, Kaizens, OPLs with innovative ideas

Ensuring compliance to all environment, health and safety goals and objective by developing safety culture in team and guidance to all stake holders

Ensure adherence to quality and hygiene standards as per Company’s protocol by implementing master hygiene plan through GMP, GHP, & SOPs.

**Education& Working Experience：**

**Qualification**
- Critical---------- B.Tech / M.Sc in Agri/Food Tech/Horticulture
- Desirable------- M.Tech/MBA Agri Business/Supply Chain / Food Tech

**Experience**
- 5-7 years of experience in Potato crop production/contract farming.

**Special Knowledge and Skills**:

- Having fully equipped with Computer knowledge (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Should have previous experience in handling growers for contract farming for crops and should have thorough knowledge of potato production techniques.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
