Return all keys before leaving work.
- Watch for suspicious behavior and report unusual noises.
- Report missing items in rooms immediately to your superiors.
- Report any breakage or damage in guest room or public areas.
- Report if any pets or prohibited items noticed in guestrooms.
- Report any occupied rooms where the doors have been left unlocked.
- Do not unlock any interconnection doors for anyone without permission of Front Desk.
- Do not answer telephone calls in the guestrooms.
- Do not use telephones in occupied rooms.
- Do not lend your passkey.
- Do not give out guest names or room numbers.
- Do not remove or search guests baggage.
- Do not throw away anything that the guest leaves lying around.
**Qualifications**:
Language : English, Hindi and local languages
Education : Literate
Experiness : 6 months to 1 year experience as housekeeping work in hotel industry.

Ø Ensure highest level of hygiene and cleanliness, all amenities, proper maintenance and a ‘perfect’ room for Guests as per hotel standards
Ø Knows the location of different rooms and suites and their names and their layout of the hotel
Ø Responsible for floor master keys and security of guest rooms and ensures all standards as per checklist
Ø Prepares and services rooms to meet Guest requirements on the floor by keeping Guest preferences in mind
Ø Specific no of rooms departure clearance by 9 a.m,11 a.m,1 p. m and 4 p. m
Ø Knows and gives evening /turndown services
Ø Control consumption of supplies and check pilferage’s
Ø Care in placements of personalized stationery and removing them on departure
Ø Prepares accurate occupancy report with information regarding scanty baggage, luggage occupied to control skippers and ensure correct billing
Ø Informs supervisor / housekeeping desk of lost and found items, missing articles and damaged property
Ø Coordinates with Housekeeping desk for amenities like bathrobes, plants, Stationery, mini bar, maintenance etc
Ø Checks all consumption of items in the room mini bars, replenishes them as when required and raises checks for consumption
Ø Mini bar replenishments from mini bar stores by 11.a.m/3p.m

Ø Sends Guests laundry to the laundry
Ø Coordinates with room service for clearance of soiled trays, etc
Ø Maintaining the Pantries/ Pan stocks
Ø Cleaning supplies with appropriate methods
Ø Knows & Replenishes the different emergency supplies
Ø Give feedback to supervisors regarding the status of rooms, extra amenities provided etc. at end of shift
Ø Feed back of guest messages regarding services
Ø Keeps a check on activities and people on the floor and informs the supervisor / Desk of any suspicious or irregular movement
Ø Informs Housekeeping supervisor of any guest requirements regarding Housekeeping which are beyond his/her own capabilities
Ø Ensure maximum privacy and least disturbance to Guests in rooms
Ø Shooting of soiled linen/counting linen per shift at 4 pm / 10 pm
Ø Ensure spotting, Shampooing, repair, laying of carpets and rugs
Ø Ensures spotting and upkeep of upholstery and lampshades
Ø Ensures cleaning and maintenance of equipment
