**Role Summary**:
We are looking for a Solaris Administrator who will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle Solaris operating systems on servers and workstations. Key responsibilities include system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability, reliability, and security.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Management of Solaris Servers and Server Clusters, including upgrades of Solaris OS as required.
- Fine-tuning for optimum performance, proactive management of disk space and CPU usage.
- Reloading OS on servers and creating new file systems.
- Creation of shell scripts or batch programs to automate procedures.
- Management of server backups (system state) and implementation of Audit/VAPT recommendations.
- Support during DR drills, which occur during night hours, and maintenance of Solaris virtualization (Control and guest domains).
- OS hardening and server configuration management.
- OS-level backup and restoration with the assistance of Backup Admin.
- User access management, OS-level server security management.
- Proactive monitoring of security patch releases and logs.

**Qualification**:

- 4+ years of experience in Solaris Administration.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Sun Solaris Certification is Mandatory
