Within our commercial Insights, Analytics, and Data organization we are transforming to better power decision-making across our end-to-end commercialization process, from business development to late lifecycle management. As we endeavor, we are seeking a dynamic talent for the role of Solution Architect

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Lead development activities for bringing the organization’s data ecosystem to a modern, effective, resilient, and robust architecture
- Working cross-functionally with other solution architects within the organization on integrating various products and services
- Work alongside product managers and owners to ensure the functional goals of the business, as well as the customer expectations are met through the core technology and capabilities driven by the development team
- Present regular demos to stakeholders based on the features for each release
- Identify risks both technical and functional as they pertain to the build-out of both the foundational ecosystem as well as the customer-facing features within
- Determine release strategies, methodologies, timelines, and feature roadmaps
- Lead migration and onboarding efforts for a multi-disciplinary development team to move to a new framework
- Lead thought and design around global next generation architecture within the organization
- Provide guidance and leadership in implementing tools and technologies to drive a cost-effective architecture and infrastructure
- A combination of strategic understanding, both business and technology experience, exceptional relationship building skills and solution-oriented mindset.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, etc.
- Required Experiences and Skills:

- Knowledge in AWS and deep understanding of the core services offered. Previous hands-on experience preferred
- Deep understanding of modern data architecture including processes for both batch and streaming (CDC + IoT) data as well as modern cloud-based data technology (e.g. Databricks/ Spark, Snowflake/Redshift)
- Understanding of DevOps processes and related tools including, but not limited to, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), config management (Chef, Puppet), Git / Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.
- Ability to optimize and package python code
- Hands on experience with AWS data analytics services like S3, IAM, ECS, EMR, Fargate, Glue and Sagemaker
- Hands-on with python, building packages and managing virtual environments
- Understand data science life cycle, various data science algorithms and ML-Ops processes.

**Preferred Experiences and Skills**:

- Able to align and work with diverse stakeholders
- Broad business background with experience in complex systems and interdependencies
- AWS Solution Architect Certification
