So, if Innovation is close to your heart - this is the place for you - Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: - Participate in Performance Testing and Engineering activities and should be able to perform performance data analysis, triage performance issues, and monitoring focused on performance and scalability. - A team member who is passionate about quality and demonstrates creativity and innovation in enhancing the product, with excellent problem solving, debugging, analytical and communication skills. - Ability to quickly learn new BMC products and technologies as required for a successful release delivery. - To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:Around 3+ years of overall experience in Performance Testing/Engineering- Experience working in an agile/dev-ops development environment and tools is required. - Hands-on experience with Performance Testing tools like JMeter, Load Runner, Silk Performer - Hands-on experience with designing Performance test scenarios, preparing test scripts & carrying out test execution using performance testing tools - Working knowledge on the programming/scripting languages like Java/Python - Expert on at least one operating systems (UNIX/Linux or Windows). Expertise in Linux is a plus. Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills: - Exposure to Cloud, docker/container based technologies - Experience in working with cloud infrastructure technologies - Open-shift/AWS/Kubernetes/Docker/Prometheus/Grafana etc. Our commitment to you BMC’s culture is built around its people.
