You will be working as R&D Solution Architect and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Product Manager and will be responsible for supporting strategic corporate technology direction and future product/software/solution architecture. Initiating and driving technology, software, product and/or solution development using in-depth technical expertise in a specific area or a broad range of skills in a technical or product field. Managing or coordinating development projects/activities of substantial impact to the business. Acting as the first line contact in R&D/SW development/Product engineering for in-depth product or technology related issues

**Your responsibilities**:

- Providing broad technical software support and training, if required, to clients using ABB solution in the data center industry
- Working with project managers to define scope, features and estimates for new projects. Planning and leading project activities with the development team
- Working directly on development tasks; providing technical leadership; coordinating with other resources and creating high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets
- Doing software Implementation on key areas should the need arise or if team needs support and reviewing of the implementation to ensure that the functionality adhering to design and is of a high quality
- Understanding, analyzing and helping the development team on customer cases related to existing releases of DCA products and will be expected to become proficient at installing, configuring and troubleshooting the software, communicate with management & stakeholders on the planning and progress of activities

**Your background**:

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 12-15 years with 5-8 years of experience with designing software architecture and overall software development experience with expertise in microsoft technologies like C++, C#,.Net, ASP.NET MVC,.Net Core
- Good experience with JS-based tools including jasmin, bower, grunt and gulp along with experience of relational database Oracle / SQL Server/PostgreSQL, time series database
- Desirable to have architecture related certification like TOGAF
