**Job Title**: VMC Programmer - CAM Programming

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, simulate, and optimize CNC programs for **Vertical Machining Centers (VMC)** using CAM software such as **Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar**.
- Interpret **engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation** to generate precise tool paths.
- Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and machining strategies to achieve **tight tolerances and surface finish** requirements.
- Conduct **trial runs, validation, and first-piece inspections** to ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to **optimize processes and reduce cycle time**.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues on the shop floor.
- Maintain updated documentation of programs, tooling sheets, and operation guidelines.
- Ensure **adherence to aerospace quality standards** and safety protocols.

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum **4 years of hands-on experience** in VMC Programming and CAM software in a precision or aerospace manufacturing setup.
- Proficient in **2D and 3D CAM programming**.
- Strong knowledge of **machining operations**, cutting tools, speeds & feeds, GD&T, and materials (aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret **engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D CAD models**.
- Familiar with quality standards and inspection tools (micrometers, height gauges, CMM reports, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with **tight tolerances and high-precision components**.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and meet production deadlines.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the **aerospace** or **defense** component industry is highly desirable.
- Exposure to **ISO 9001 / AS9100** quality management systems is a plus.
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Tool & Die / Production Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
