Painter (Hotel)

The Hotel Painter is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance, cleanliness and condition of interior and exterior painted and finished surfaces of the hotel. This includes guest rooms, corridors, public areas, back-of-house areas, and any renovation/repair work, while minimizing disruption to hotel operations and guests.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting: cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks/holes, removing old wallpaper or paint, priming as required. SmartRecruiters+3Careers Page+3Choose Cornwall+3
- Work on both interior and exterior surfaces, including high-traffic public areas, guest rooms, back-of-house, furniture, fixtures and fittings. Careers Page+1
- Maintain tools, equipment and materials; manage inventory of paint, solvents, finishes; ensure safe storage and disposal of materials. SmartRecruiters
- Perform inspections of painted surfaces, identify areas needing maintenance or repainting and report as needed. Careers Page
- Follow all safety, health, fire and environmental regulations—use personal protective equipment, work safely on ladders/scaffolds, handle solvents safely. SmartRecruiters+1
- Clean and maintain the workspace at end of each shift; ensure mínimal mess and restore area to guest-ready condition. Teal+1
- Assist with special renovation or decorative projects (e.g., wallpaper installation/removal, faux finishes) as needed. Careers Page
- Be flexible to work shifts that include nights, weekends or holidays (to reduce guest disruption).

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
