**Responsibilities**
- Conduct routine eye examinations and evaluate patients' visual acuity.
- Diagnose common and complex eye conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, and refractive errors.
- Assist in ophthalmic surgeries, such as cataract and retinal procedures.
- Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications or corrective lenses as needed.
- Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery.
- Collaborate with senior ophthalmologists and medical staff for comprehensive patient management.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive strategies, and proper post-surgery care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting diagnoses and treatment progress.
- Participate in research projects and clinical trials to enhance ophthalmic care.
- Stay updated on advancements in ophthalmology through continuous professional development and training.

**Preferred Education**
- BAMS+ MS in Ophthalmology
