**Pre-Operative Duties**:

- Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Verify patient identity, surgical procedure, and consent.
- Assist with patient positioning and draping.
- Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the surgeon or anaesthetist.

**Intra-Operative Duties**:

- Assist surgeons during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
- Monitor and record patient vitals and surgical activities.
- Manage surgical instruments, sponges, and sharps.
- Ensure all items are accounted for during and after surgery.

**Post-Operative Duties**:

- Assist in patient recovery and transfer to recovery or ICU.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to anaesthesia or complications.
- Document post-operative care and observations.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing records.
- Participate in regular training and continuing education.
- Support junior staff and contribute to team development.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (GNM/ B.Sc. Nursing)
- **License/Certification**: Registered Nurse (RN) license from appropriate regulatory body
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years of OT experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and aseptic techniques
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
