Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Delivery and Instruction**:

- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Establish and enforce rules and routines to maintain discipline and a productive learning atmosphere.
- Manage classroom behavior and address any issues in accordance with school policies.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding, progress, and performance.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their work and academic progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievements, attendance, and other relevant information.
- **Student Support and Development**:

- Identify and address individual students’ learning needs and provide additional support as required.
- Encourage and motivate students to develop their academic and personal skills.
- Foster a supportive and caring environment that promotes students’ social and emotional development.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, ideas, and strategies for effective teaching and learning.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other events as needed.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
- Participate in school-based training and workshops to support personal and professional growth.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Prepare and submit lesson plans, progress reports, and other necessary documentation in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and programs.

Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching certification is required.
- **Experience**:

- Previous teaching experience at the primary school level is preferred.
