**Position Overview**:
As an ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Trainer for IB (International Baccalaureate) Board Schools, you will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive ICT education programs that align with the IB curriculum framework. Your role involves supporting teachers and students in integrating technology effectively into teaching and learning processes, promoting digital literacy, and fostering innovation in the classroom.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Teacher Training and Support:
- Conduct professional development workshops and training sessions for teachers to enhance their ICT skills, pedagogical practices, and classroom integration strategies.
- Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to educators in leveraging technology tools and platforms to enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement.
- Student Engagement and Learning Support:
- Facilitate engaging and interactive ICT lessons and activities that promote active learning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration among students.
- Provide individualised support and assistance to students in acquiring ICT skills, troubleshooting technical issues, and utilizing digital resources for research, projects, and presentations.
- Technology Infrastructure Management:
- Collaborate with school administrators and IT personnel to assess, implement, and maintain technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, and security systems.
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to measure student progress and proficiency in ICT competencies and concepts.
- Analyse assessment data to inform instructional decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and develop targeted interventions and enrichment activities.
- Community Engagement and Collaboration:
- Foster partnerships with parents, community organizations, industry professionals, and educational stakeholders to promote digital citizenship, internet safety, and responsible technology use.
- Participate in collaborative projects, research initiatives, and professional learning communities to stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in ICT education.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in teaching, training, or curriculum development, preferably within an IB or international school environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences, build positive relationships, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional growth, reflective practice, and student-centered learning principles.
- Familiarity with the IB curriculum framework, assessment practices, and educational philosophies is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications in ICT education, instructional technology, or IB pedagogy are advantageous.
**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
