**Supervisor Duties And Responsibilities**

A supervisor plays several important roles in a business. The nature of the responsibilities can differ depending on the size of the organisation. The key duties and responsibilities of a supervisor are as follows:

- Supervisors monitor and check staff performance levels, ensuring that work is carried out within set deadlines, budget, and quality standards
- Supervisors collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Supervisors often plan projects, establish project objectives, and ensure that they are carried out successfully
- Supervisors provide team members with feedback on performance
- **Reporting to upper management**: Supervisors often prepare and present reports to upper management on team performance, progress, and issues
- Supervise the security guards and allot the positions

**Objectives of this role**
- Motivate employees by resolving issues and making sound decisions
- Serve as a conduit of communication between employees and senior managers
- Implement business strategy, assigning roles and tasks to dedicated team members based on their strengths and abilities
- Identify and implement changes for cost reduction and waste elimination
- Meet and exceed organizational goals through optimal utilization of personnel and resources
- Ensure compliance with national and local regulations and laws

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business or related field
- Professional certification
- Ability to communicate in more than one language
