**Job Summary**: The Software Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing sales opportunities for our software products. This role requires a thorough understanding of the software industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Lead Generation**: Identify potential customers through research, networking, and outbound calling.
- **Sales Process Management**: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- **Product Demonstrations**: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our software solutions.
- **Customer Engagement**: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- **Negotiation**: Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to close deals while ensuring profitability.
- **Pipeline Management**: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM software, tracking activities, and ensuring data integrity.
- **Market Analysis**: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment on goals.
- **Performance Metrics**: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in software sales or a similar role.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
