Mechanical Fitter

**Responsiblities**:

- Perform fitting, assembling, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment in the refinery.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, valves, pipelines, gearboxes, compressors, and other refinery machinery.
- Ensure proper alignment, calibration, and lubrication of mechanical components.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
- Follow refinery safety standards, company procedures, and industry best practices.
- Support breakdown maintenance and emergency repairs as required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members for smooth operations.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in Edible oil refinery.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, piping systems, rotating and static equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and mechanical schematics.
- Hands-on skills with tools, welding, and fabrication (added advantage).
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Physically fit to work in refinery conditions (heat, noise, heights, confined spaces).
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
