We are seeking a Junior Accounts & Finance Executive to join our dynamic team in the transport and shipping industry. This role is ideal for an individual with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounting Support**: assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- **Transaction Management**: Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- **Bank Reconciliation**: Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records for all transactions.
- **Tax Compliance**: Assist with the preparation and filing of taxes (e.g., GST, TDS, income tax), ensuring compliance with tax laws and company regulations.
- **Journal Entries**:Post journal entries, process receipts and payments, and maintain general ledger accounts.
- **Financial Data Entry**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data in the accounting system and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
- **Inventory & Costing**: Support inventory accounting and monitor costs related to transport and shipping operations.
- **Audit Assistance**:Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and data.
- **Expense Tracking**:Track and report company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with budgetary guidelines.
- **ERP System Management**: Support in the use of ERP software for efficient accounting and reporting functions.
- **Compliance & Documentation**:Ensure all financial records and processes comply with company policies and statutory requirements.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**:B.Com, Inter CA, CS, or a Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
- **Experience**: 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts and finance, preferably within the transport, logistics, or shipping industry.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- **Knowledge**: Sound understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
- **Attention to Detail**: High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
- **Communication**:Good verbal and written communication skills.
- **Team Player**: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
- **Problem Solving**:Ability to identify financial discrepancies and offer timely resolutions.
