**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create smooth and expressive 2D animations for characters, environments, and UI components
- Design and implement 2D visual effects such as magic spells, explosions, weather effects, and transitions
- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and developers to ensure visual consistency and alignment with the project’s creative direction
- Optimize and export animation assets for use in game engines, particularly Unity
- Contribute to establishing and maintaining the animat

**Qualifications**:

- A strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating 2D animation and 2D VFX work
- Proficiency in animation tools such as Spine, After Effects, Toon Boom, or equivalent
- Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with Unity or similar game engines
- Knowledge of rigging and skeletal animation workflows
- Background in traditional or frame-by-frame animation techniques
