As a 2D background artist in our Licensing department, you will have the exciting opportunity to exercise your creativity and utilize your skills to craft stunning environments for our Creative Library. Your primary responsibilities will involve advanced character shadow work and the creation of 2D backgrounds, as well as developing the colors, styles, and moods of various scenes. This role requires a strong understanding of digital painting and an advanced level of expertise in Children's animation backgrounds.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating digitally painted 2D backgrounds: Your main task will be to produce high-quality, digitally painted backgrounds for our animation projects.
- Advanced character shadow work: You will be expected to master the techniques of character shadowing at an advanced level to add depth and dimension to the artwork.
- Provide concept art in various stages: You will be involved in the artistic process from start to finish, including providing rough sketches, full-color concepts, and final painted environments.
- Close collaboration with other teams: Working closely with other departments, you will contribute your artistic vision to ensure seamless integration of backgrounds with the overall animation.
- Research theme-based animation art styles and trends: Staying up-to-date with current animation art styles and trends is essential to bring fresh ideas and innovation to your work.

Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of artistic principles: You should have a deep understanding of employing light, shadow, color, form, and composition to create visually appealing backgrounds.
- Strong knowledge of perspective: Perspective is crucial in creating realistic and engaging environments; thus, a solid grasp of this concept is necessary.
- Strong painting and illustration skills: Your artistic abilities and technical skills in painting and illustration should be of an excellent standard.
- Ability to paint in animation styles: Familiarity with various animation styles and the ability to adapt your art to match these styles is important.
- Ability to understand and adapt to art notes: You should be able to interpret feedback and art direction creatively, bringing your imaginative ideas to life.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
