**Research Technician**
- to be implemented in the state of Bihar. This position is based in BCoEMVC Farm, Mayapur village, Gaya, Bihar, and will report to ICRISAT Headquarters, Patancheru, Telangana, India.

**Responsibilities**:
- To attend all the field activities from sowing to harvesting, data collection, seed production, processing and storage.
- Supervise labourers in crop production activities from planting to harvesting including seed processing.
- Organize the availability of farm labourers from nearby villages through local contractor.
- Regularly communicate updates and progress to the supervisor.
- Travel to different sites within Bihar State to conduct experiments and gather data.
- Performing any other project activities as advised by the supervisor.
**Requirements/Experience: -**
- Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Biological sciences, preference will be given to those with experience of atleast 2-3 years working on ICRISAT mandate crops and germplasm.
- Familiarity with conducting experiments, field demonstrations, field activities, data collection and monitoring.
- Ability to drive 2 & 4-wheelers and travel to other sites when required.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal day-to-day supervision.
**General**:
This is a contractual position for a period of 36 months.
