2+ years of program or project management experience

About the Team - The RBS Inventory Optimisation team focuses on maximising FCF recoveries on unhealthy inventory via ensuring inventory that is stranded is optimally routed to sales, returns, markdowns, liquidations etc. The SME will focus specifically on returns-workstream to ensure inventory identified as unhealthy and has return-rights is returned defect-free to the Selling Partners
**Roles and responsibilities**:
An L5 SME is expected to independently own business processes and metrics, establish processes for measuring, tracking, and driving continuous improvements. He/she will focus on identifying new defect areas to work on, optimise existing defect reoslution workflows, identify tech-first defect elimination opportunities, partnr with tech and business teams to deliver the goals
**Key performance areas**:
**Managing Business Problem/Programs**:
1) Knowledge of supply chain backend operations.
2) Has had experience on defining and owning business goals and establish mechanisms to track them.
3) Should have been able to identify and tackle hard business problems within their organization and propose long-term solutions.
4) Should be comfortable partnering with data analyst / program managers
6) Should have been able to establish SMART goals for their organization
**Problem Solving**:
1) Analytical reasoning including assessing and understanding events; anticipating questions and potential impact
2) Integrating information from several sources to understand an issue
3) Strategic thinking and planning
4) Draws upon the expertise of others to assist in addressing issues or solving problems
5) Makes thoughtful decisions based on sound rationale
6) Should have worked or root-cause fixing than fixing symptoms
**Technical expertise**:
1) Experience working in a fast paced environment similar to a high tech-ops start-up with responsibility for leading direct reports and influencing teams in a matrixed environment.
2) Good to have experience with Python/VBA or any leading RPA software such as UI path, Automation anywhere etc.
3) Does the person think tech first?
4) Ability to write technical specs that goes into BRD or PRFAQs
Key job responsibilities
The core focus of this role is to identify and onboard new CtS (Cost To Serve) opportunities in Inventory optimisation workstream starting from unhealthy stranded inventory identification to disposal (returns/markdowns/liquidation etc) execution, primarily focussing on returns.
