- **Medication Safety**: Ensure the safe and effective use of medications by checking prescriptions, verifying allergies, and optimizing medication plans.

Administrative & Operational Duties
- **Inventory Management**: Track and order pharmaceutical supplies, drugs, and other medical supplies, ensuring proper storage and handling.
- **Staff Supervision**: Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians and trainees, ensuring the quality of their work and maintaining operational efficiency.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records, including patient profiles and controlled substance inventories.
- **Formulary Management**: Assist in developing and managing the hospital's drug formulary, selecting medications based on safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaboration & Education
- **Multidisciplinary Teamwork**: Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to make informed drug-related decisions and improve patient care.
- **Information Resource**: Serve as a resource by providing information on medicines to other healthcare workers, patients, and the general public.
- **Quality Improvement**: Participate in activities that improve medication use, safety, and overall pharmaceutical services within the hospital
