The responsibilities of a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Chemistry include:
- **Teaching and Instruction**:
- Develop and deliver lessons in Chemistry, covering topics such as Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry, as well as Chemical Reactions, Thermodynamics, and Molecular Structure.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and resources.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and practical sessions to facilitate hands-on learning.
- **Student Assessment**:
- Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and grade assignments, lab reports, and exams.
- **Curriculum Development**:
- Develop and update the Chemistry curriculum in line with CBSE guidelines and educational standards.
- Incorporate new teaching methods, technologies, and materials to enhance learning experiences.
- **Classroom Management**:
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
- Address and resolve any behavioral issues and ensure a safe learning atmosphere.
- **Mentoring and Guidance**:
- Provide academic and career guidance to students interested in Chemistry and related fields.
- Support students in their overall development, including participation in extracurricular activities related to Chemistry.
- **Parent and Teacher Communication**:
- Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and provide updates on student performance.
- **Professional Development**:
- Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and courses.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Chemistry education, research, and teaching methodologies.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
- Participate in school meetings, committees, and events as required.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration to achieve the school’s educational goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and programs.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:
- Organize and participate in school activities, events, and clubs related to Chemistry and science education.
- Guide students in preparing for chemistry-related competitions, projects, and presentations.
- **Laboratory Management**:
- Ensure the chemistry laboratory is well-maintained, safe, and stocked with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Teach students proper laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
