The purpose of an Arc Welder job role is to join metal components together in a safe and efficient manner by using an electric arc welding machine. This may involve the use of a range of welding techniques, including stick, MIG, TIG, and flux-core processes. An Arc Welder job role also involves carrying out pre-weld preparation tasks, such as cleaning, grinding, and beveling joints before welding. Arc Welder job roles usually require the individual to read and interpret technical drawings, as well as to adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
- Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
- Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
- Maintain and repair all machinery.
- Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
