**Introduction**:
The role requires an experienced developer in test to independently deliver changes for projects impacting Customer system (Mainframe) platform.

**What will you be doing?**
- A track record of successful developer roles undertaken on large projects with technically complex architectures
- Experience in a large commercial organization in a developer role
- Excellent communication skills to business and technical stakeholders
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and interpret requirements into low level specifications / Application code.
- Full life cycle experience including Technical design, programming, testing, implementation and support
- Mandatory Strong expertise in Mainframe technologies i.e. COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, TWS (Scheduling), IMS, Stored Procedures, system APIs, SPICE, REXX and tools such as Endevor, Abend-Aid, File-Aid, Karate, Load runner, Insomnia/Postman, DB2 platinum etc.
- Knowledge and experience of more than one recognized development methodology e.g. waterfall, Agile
- Deliver projects within agreed timescales and budgets
- Liaise with technical delivery managers, keeping them updated on release progress against milestones, risks, issues and finances
- Identify own development needs and proactively drive development of own capability, using all available means, to achieve world class standards
- Ensure that all governance, risk policies, procedures and compliance policies are adhered.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Computer Engineering Graduate with Technical background.
- Mainframe Application Development/Testing Experience between 7-8 years.
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Visio.
- Excellent Technical knowledge in mainframes (COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS DB/DC, REXX) is mandatory.
- Functional knowledge in Customer related processing would be an added advantage.

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Any software testing certification
- Exposure to mainframe system testing and End to End testing
