**Job Title**: Typist (Coaching Institute)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Type and format lecture notes, study materials, assignments, and exam papers accurately and efficiently.
- Input student data into databases and update records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Create, edit, and format documents in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as per requirements.
- Assist in preparing presentations, newsletters, and promotional materials for the institute.
- Proofread typed documents for grammar, spelling, and formatting errors.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, organizing documents, and managing correspondence.
- Assist faculty and administrative staff with other typing or clerical duties as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of typing tasks in line with the institute’s deadlines.
- Maintain a system of digital and physical document organization for easy retrieval.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven typing speed of at least 50-60 words per minute with high accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to proofread and edit documents.
- Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student information.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of educational terminology and experience working in an educational setting is a plus.

**Education**:
**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to sit for extended periods while typing.
- Comfortable using a computer and other office equipment for long hours.

**Work Environment**:

- Office-based role within the coaching institute.
- Potential for evening or weekend hours during peak periods (exams, special classes, etc.).
