**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities:1. Operations & Management**
- Oversee the daily operations of the diagnostic centre, including pathology, radiology, and imaging services.
- Ensure all diagnostic procedures are performed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with medical standards.
- Maintain high levels of patient care, safety, and service quality.
**2. Team Leadership & Staff Management**
- Supervise and guide medical technologists, radiologists, lab technicians, and administrative staff.
- Conduct staff training and development programs to ensure professional growth and adherence to best practices.
- Foster a positive work environment that enhances teamwork and productivity.
**3. Quality Control & Compliance**
- Ensure the diagnostic centre complies with healthcare regulations, NABL/NABH standards, and safety protocols.
- Implement quality assurance programs for accurate test results and imaging reports.
- Regularly review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
**4. Financial & Budget Management**
- Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and ensure financial efficiency.
- Optimize resource utilization while maintaining high service standards.
- Work on revenue generation strategies, including corporate tie-ups and service expansion.
**5. Equipment & Technology Management**
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of diagnostic equipment, including MRI, CT scan, X-ray, and pathology lab instruments.
- Ensure regular calibration and servicing of all diagnostic tools to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in diagnostic technology.
**6. Patient Care & Customer Service**
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results to patients and referring physicians.
- Address patient concerns, complaints, and feedback to improve service delivery.
- Promote ethical practices and patient confidentiality.
**7. Business Development & Marketing**
- Develop partnerships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers to enhance the centre’s reputation and patient inflow.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote services and community health awareness programs.
- Implement strategies to improve patient engagement and satisfaction.
**8. Research & Development**
- Encourage research initiatives, clinical trials, and collaboration with medical institutions.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in diagnostics and laboratory medicine.
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Radiology, Pathology, or a related field.
- Minimum **10 years of experience** in a leadership role within a diagnostic centre or healthcare facility.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory and imaging techniques, quality control, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in using **hospital/diagnostic management software**.
